Estonian government adopted an action plan to stop the HIV epidemic
Today, at the Cabinet Meeting, the Estonian Government approved the National HIV Action Plan for the years 2017-2025, developed in cooperation of the Ministry of Social Affairs and the National Institute for Health Development.

Joint efforts to enhance evidence-based policy making to stop antimicrobial resistance
Today, 23 November, as part of the Estonian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, a high-level meeting in Brussels will focus on the new EU One Health Action Plan to tackle the spread of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) in the European Union and evidence-based policy making. The aim of the meeting is to support cooperation in the areas of health, agriculture and the environment in order to accelerate the implementation of intersectoral AMR actions at national, EU and global level.

High-Level Conference Future of Work: Making It e-Easy kicks off today, September 13, and focuses on the changing world of work
Today, Wednesday, September 13, marks the start of the two-day Presidency conference, the ‘Future of Work: Making It e-Easy’ that hosts high-level public officials and experts in the field of labour and employment as well as social affairs, education and e-government, including experts from the public and private sectors. The conference focuses on the direction, extent and pace of the technological achievements and the ever-changing economic landscape that will change both the quantity and the quality of work. The conference will be hosted by the Minister for Health and Labour Jevgeni Ossinovski and opened by the President of Estonia, Kersti Kaljulaid.
